Went on Saturday night for dinner, food service perfect! Went back Sunday night just to bar. Bartender was very poor. 14 to 18 people at bar, all he did was complain that he was only one person and had so many people to take care of. I've been to Ruth's Chris in Atlanta a few times, but this one in Columbus, SC is not like any of the others. It was my first time experiencing this restaurant, I was not disappointed. I added a few pictures, it doesn't do it justice! I started with warm bread and a shrimp cocktail, and a delightful mimosa (with peach juice). I was having trouble deciding what to order, so Rene suggested the Garlic Crusted Sea Bass that was so good I didn't even get a picture. I ordered a salad, the feta cheese was left off, no biggie, and she made it right for me. I cannot say enough about the Sweet Potato Casserole as a side. I arrived early, even as the location filled up, the noise level was not unpleasant, and there was plenty of good vibe atmosphere. Great experience.
Waitress/Waiters forgot at least 10 requests we gave them throughout our visit. Forgot our drinks and appitizers. But Food was amazing.
We are celebrating a Birthday here at Ruth’s Chris. The experience was great, but even greater with our server, Renee. She helped us with the menu, with our drinks and with my wife’s wine selection, which was excellent. If there were six stars, that would be my choice. Great food, and excellent service.
We hadn’t been to Ruth’s Chris in probably 6 months (had a lackluster experience, so we decided to take a break), but our first trip back did not disappoint! We went for our anniversary and we had an AMAZING time! Our server, Kalief, was energetic, professional, and attentive. He made our time more enjoyable. We ordered our usuals, which we usually have plenty of leftovers, but everything was so well seasoned and delicious, that we stuffed ourselves and had nothing left to take home. The drinks were strong (I was tipsy after the first drink, but couldn’t resist a second), the atmosphere was private (our reservation was at 8:30 on a Wednesday night, so there were only a few tables there when we got there). There wasn’t loud music playing in the background so that you have to yell to hear your dinner companions. They provided little extras to make the night special. It was romantic and perfect! Thank you to Kalief, the manager who stopped by to check on us, Megan, and the rest of the staff for making our night special. I can’t wait to do it again!
Excellent Food Service Spent the evening enjoying myself while I had a babysitter.
