I had a nice lunch today at Motor Supply. I first ate here when they opened over 30 years ago. As they have changed hands their practices have changed. Absolutely hands down the best shrimp and grits I've ever had! Not only was the food delicious and beautifully presented, the atmosphere is both beautiful and comfortable! The service was slightly slower than expected, but, it was at the height of the dinner rush.
Great brunch spot just off Main Street. Excellent service and both our meals were under $18 dollars. Which felt super cheap for the high end feel of this restaurant. I highly recommend making a reservation for their brunch service.
This place is amazing. The farm to table concept is always my favorite and these people absolutely nailed it. The black bass with crab is unique and delicious. The New York strip with the corn was on point. And props to our waiter Brandon. This guy was super attentive, detailed with the entree descriptions and recommendations. Give this guy a raise! Also, this spot has a great story from when it was first opened as a general store, to the 1930s original sign, pretty cool.
From the pork belly to rabbit to wreck fish to grass fed steak, this was a absolutely phenomenal experience!!! Our server, Blayne, gave us great suggestions on cocktails and appetizers and everything tasted amazing! It is so rare to taste everything on a menu being well seasoned and well cooked. Highly recommend and will definitely come back again!
In my mind, this is the best meal you can get in Columbia South Carolina. yet another wonderful dinner tonight. went with a work colleague who has never been here before. We had a delicious salad with strawberries and ripped ricotta cheese. dinner was the most delicious and tender pork chop ever. A side of absolutely amazing collard greens. dessert was an olive oil cake with whipped cream and fresh strawberries again.
