This my favorite Indian restaurant. The others nearby are very good as well, but I have been going to Mr. Singh's restaurant for years, since he was in the old location on Broad River Rd, and it has always been the best for me. Part of the reason also is I like the choices on the buffet better, and this is the only one that gets the rice pudding right, or at least how I like it. Has inspired me to cook more Indian di... What Joannie Jerde doesn't like about Delhi Palace:
I've been here since 2015 and always enjoyed it. A friend and I have eaten a good piece about last year, but last time we were there, the owner came to the table while I got another dish and asked how much will you eat? I had three plates with small amounts of everything that was when I got my third. Second edition. My friend and I were often there and we always pay separately. The food is delicious. Our server was very professional and helpful. Dinner for two is more than enough food for two people! We even had food to take home! The Chai was a good taste, beautiful and the right amount of spices. I'm looking forward to going back!
Utterly subduing. I was here twice, once for a meal and another for the buffet. The pictures online are a lie. The food looks like that. And the taste is dirty and similar to a way of thinking that takes care of saving more money than the quality of food. Cut corners with ingredients and frozen products warm up instead of scratches. The price does not reflect the quality if you are looking for a good, well prepared Indian food, then do not come here. I will not come back here unless there was a radical change in the quality of food.

I had three plates with small amounts of everything that was when I got my third. Second edition. My friend and I were often there and we always pay separately. So during this same visit the man rings us as a ticket. Then cheat me because if you want to pay, separate your waiting. He makes a big stink and continues until a young woman comes to help. I still like the place, enjoy their food, always tip, but will not go back due to the attitude.
All buffets have a hit in customers and therefore in various offers. But Delhi Palace still has a wide selection of things, all bases are covered and there are always one or two special things. I loved the okra last time. I'll be back soon.
I've taken my family there twice now, trying to give it a second chance. Both visits were about a month apart and on different days of the week. Unfortunately, the service here was next to non existent. My wife ended up just getting a jar of water to pour for us after about 15 minutes of waiting. There was only one server who said their dishwasher called out, but even the first time we went it seemed as if the server was really stressed out. I've never walked in to a restaurant paying $16/person and felt like they didn't want me there. They didn't give us napkins, the buffet was minimal (no naan, chicken or rice when we got there) and we were told that they wouldn't put any more desserts out even though they were about gone. It's just not worth the money, I recommend trying somewhere else.
