The pottery with a grey Pino... read more We feel good as soon as we get here. The welcome is simple and warm. Like what, the Alsaceans like the Parisians. We're having fun. The pottery with a grey Pinot was delicious, to this day of February certainly sunny but still frisquet. I ended up with the fine cinnamon pie, which I thought was for 4 people, but I swallowed it all.

We really enjoyed our lunch at a time when most restaurants are closed.

The restaurant is small and cosy good job we booked and the atmosphere informal and friendly. The decor is quirky, which I liked: no cliches here. We chose to share a large salad to start, with slices of smoked duck and some foie gras. Delicious! Then my husband enjoyed a tarte flambee with mushrooms, which he said were intensely flavoured. I had one with asparagus, trout and salmon. Light, crisp, very thin, with generous topping, it was probably the best tarte flambee I've ever had. No formality, no stodge, and a very reasonable bill. Just a lovely evening.

Although we were la... read more We stayed one night in Colmar and on tripadvisor we found such good and sweet reviews about this place that we called to make a reservation. Although we were late they kept our table free and served us a lovely dinner. We took a salad to share and then a flammkuchen 4 fromage and it tasted so good. Both dishes were absolutely fresh and crispy and so full of flavours. Service was also good and luckily also in English.

They did their best to see that we sat were there were less noisy people as there was a family with many kids. Good value for money as well.
