However, the price you pay that isn't written is dealing... read more The restaurant has a take-out window and if you are in a rush, you can get a sandwich for a good price. However, the price you pay that isn't written is dealing with the man selling it. As soon as you speak English, he scowls and even with French customers he seems impatient. Just because you buy from the window, he treats you like a beggar, without even thinking that perhaps you simply are on a tight schedule of just a few hours and have no time to sit in their restaurant. I asked if I could use their toilet, he said no. I asked that if he can make an exception if I paid 50 cents (despite the fact that I bought about 30 Euros worth of sandwiches) since this is how the restaurants deal with outsiders in Germany...he seemed to get very irritated and insulted and shouted at me that this is impossible and is only for those who dined in. Nevertheless, I think 30 Euros is more than some food on the menu offered inside, I simply didn't have time to dine in.
