We HD seen reviews on line and discovered this eatery was only 100 metres from our hotel. It has solely a fried chicken menu and a small dining area something of a cross between a cafe and a bistro? Everywhere seemed clean though Externally you would be forgiven for thinking it was a takeaway! The service was good and friendly and the food was tasty and familiar. chicken is not widely served or available on dinner menus in The black forest areas we had previously visited. Would question whether it merits a fifteen minutes walk from the Town centre but if you are staying at or near the Kyriad hotel in Uberlingen area of Colmar it is worth a visit. After a long day exploring Colmar we were happy not to have to walk back into town to find our evening meal.
Not a lot more to be said other than great food, great service and a real bargain. Burger chips and a drink for €10 you can’t get better than that for value. The host was so welcoming and it’s a really nice atmosphere. If you visit Colmar I would highly recommend this. I appreciate it’s not French cuisine but it’s really really worth it.
Great casual eats, freshly prepared fries and chicken strips. Hot and simple, but very well done. Nice service, friendly, good for kids and a casual meal. Chicken strips, a good size serving, with great batter, fries and a drink were about 8 euros.
Sometimes you have to walk a few blocks to get value. This wasn't a problem and we quite enjoyed this spot for a dinner to save a few dollars. The service was nice and while small, added to the ambiance. You could tell it's somewhere that does well worth both tourists like myself and locals alike.
