Flammekuchen was good but it is not really complicated. Wine absolutely average. From the moment we got a seat to the moment we got our plates, it took them one hour. With 24 people in the restaurant! When we complained politely the waiter was rude and told us basically that we have no right to complain at rush hour, and was telling us basically the f word. 90 euros for this? A rip off. Worth noting also that you are sitting in a basement without any window and average design which looks like my garage revamped. We talked with a local later, he said you cannit expect more in la loge . Even a sandwich would have been a better experience.

A small mix up with our booking was quickly rectified and we received prompt, attentive service throughput the meal. My escargot starter was perfect and our mains choices of pork hock with saurcroute and pork cordon blue couldn't be faulted either. Portions very generous too! All washed down with a good and respectably-priced Pinot Noir. We even had an origami demonstration by the owner. Very highly recommended.
