Delicious food! Ali, the owner, is extremely friendly and the customer service was great. We love the chickpea curry and the samosas. A staple for our family on nights we want take-out! View all feedback.
What Rigoberto Sanford doesn't like about Ali's Kitchen:
As a person from Brampton where we have a lot of Indian food to choose from I was terribly disappointed in this place. I have never had a bad samosa in my life except here. They tasted totally vile. The rest of the food we ordered (for take-out,as the place is very small) was just as bad as the samosas. I would not recommend this place to anyone! View all feedback.
We were looking for a Halal place to eat in Collinwood and came across Ali's. Superb!! Place to eat with family.
Very Good Curry Indian Cuisine , Bajia delicious , Samosa small and good , Mango Chutney with a bit of heat but runy . Lamb Curry , good . Beef Korma good , Naan . Lassi good . Saffron Rice very good . Total for two people $60.00 .Raita watery . A bit salty for my taste , if not would give 5 stars . If you like Indian Cuisine and are in the area I would recommend this place to eat in or take out . There is a table for 2 or 4 or 8 .
We ordered take-out when we were in Collingwood. $50.00 got us three mains, naan, samosa - enough for two dinners plus a left-over lunch. Really tasty and really spicy. The only thing we were disappointed in were the fixings...the raita and chutney were pretty runny and not that flavourful.
I am just so excited to have an actual indian place in collingwood. it has been a ling time. I hope this last as long as mike's corned beef. Potential is there. lets hope the rest is following
I was looking for an Indian restaurant in Collingwood. The motel I was staying in (Mariner Motor Hotel) recommended this. Not really a restaurant, more like a drop-in and take-out place with a few tables to sit. Not licenced. But, very friendly service and very good food. I did have the vegetarian Paneer with garlic naam. Very delicious.
