Love the new manager and the staff, the best staff I have seen in years honestly. I'm glad we decided to give it a try after a year. The quality of the food is definitely on point. Order never arrived, called a couple times, lady on phone (manager I believe) rushed and rude, didn't want to admit they made a mistake. To make a long story short, I canceled order after third phone call wondering if order was going to show! View all feedback.
We decided to try Vocelli Pizza, 1025 Washington Pike, Bridgeville, PA 15017 for dinner this evening. We placed the following order: (1)16 inch pizza, pesto sauce, pineapple, light cheese, and light cook (2) 16 inch pizza, pesto sauce, onion, regular cheese, light cook. Our Vocelli pizza order was a total disaster! Pizza 1 was a light cook like it was supposed to be, but pizza 2 was completely burnt, not even close to a light cook. Pizza 2 had light cheese instead of regular cheese. Pizza 1 had regular cheese instead of light cheese. Now, for the best thing of all.....Pizza 2 had a 9 x 6 inch piece of plastic covered in pesto sauce and baked onto the back of the pizza. The plastic was hard and crumbly, after having been baked in the oven. IN THE MIDDLE OF A PANDEMIC, WHEN ALL PIZZA COMPANIES ARE CLAIMING TOUCHLESS DELIVERY, we have a piece of filthy plastic actually baked onto the back of our pizza. We took a bunch of pictures, and we saved the baked piece of plastic. When, I called, the owner and manager were not available, so I spoke with the assistant Manager. She offered to give me a credit on my next order. Why would you offer a credit on a future order in a situation like this. There will be no next order! I want a full refund, and I want to know what was baked onto the back of our pizza! If this is not resolved, I plan to call the corporate office and the Pittsburgh Health Department.
Did Michelle leave? We stopped ordering for a while at this location and gave it another try 3 weeks or so ago and was absolutely satisfied and Michelle believe she is the new general manager) made our complete order and made it correctly and it was completely right and so good like it once was. We ordered 3 times after that and because of Michelle all 3 times it was good however we ordered Saturday 10/23 and our pizza was cold and stiff even tried to put it in the oven and it actually tasted worse so when I called and asked to speak to her the person who answered stated she was not there and I asked if she would be in the following day and she stated no and was not sure when she was to return. If Michelle is no longer at this location my family and I will stop ordering from this one because until she started we spent more time trying to get our order fixed and less time enjoying the food however we will stop because this last time was horrible.
I ordered a pizza with sausage, bacon, spinach mushroom, as well as family size salad and garlic chicken wings. Everything is sooooooooo delicious! Especially chicken wings, it's just right. Not overcooked!
I ordered my food online. I drive to the shop to pick it up and the door is propped open but there is nobody to be found. I wait for 5 minutes and then I decided to yell to see if anybody responds. A lady comes out of the back like she's surprised somebody is there. I tell her the name for my order and she's looking for it. She walks over to the printer to see that they never started the order. This is at 845 at night. They're not busy at all. Had to wait for them to make my order. Absolutely crazy. Can't make this up.
Overall I've never had bad food there. My issue tonight was I ordered dinner at 5 and as of 6:30 it's still not here. I get they're short staffed. But when I call the store twice and no one answers, it just rings and rings, it's kind of frustrating, especially when someone in the household works the nightshift and didn't get to eat because the food didn't arrive in time. They also need to do something to their online ordering system. Once your order is placed and it says when it will be ready, it always shows the time you placed the order. It'd be helpful if they put how long to expect an order.
