T... read more We make it a point to stop at this lovely little shop every time we pass through Colfax. The owner is truly one of the most wonderful people you'll ever meet! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the drinks are fantastic, and the cinnamon rolls are out of this world! My fiancé opted for the classic cinnamon roll, while I chose the caramel version, and let me tell you, the caramel roll is simply heavenly!

I... read more During my music tour from Seattle to Montana, I was pleasantly surprised to discover this gem in the seemingly remote stretch between Walla Walla and Spokane. I expected to settle for something average, like instant coffee, but I was instead treated to a truly delightful cappuccino served by cheerful, friendly staff. To top it off, they offered a selection of tasty sandwiches, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.

It was always so wonderful to go and know that you run in someone friendly and smell the amazing aroma! I miss the big windows and the fresh flowers on the tables and the unique and wonderful decor. And of course the wonderful food and coffee! I hope they will build up soon! I'll show up!

Great little coffee and lunch place to stop. The story behind the name is nostalgic. It comes from a old 5 and dime store that used to bear the name and inhabit the same space or and least part of the space. The place has yummy pastries to enjoy with the delicious variety coffee, teas and other drinks. They have sandwiches, paninis and soups that are savory and delicious. Not to forget but the staff is always friendly and welcoming.

Very cool atmosphere, I loved the brick wall and string lights. I got a white mocha with cream and an extra shot per the recommendation of the barista behind the counter sporting lovely turquoise earrings. It was very refreshing. Would recommend this place if not for the coffee for the friendly faces behind the counter.
