Reviews - Vicki's
Reviews summary
Scott's delivers consistently excellent fish-and-chips—hearty haddock portions, hand-cut fries and notable house-made tartar sauce—at fair prices. The menu features seafood specials and comforting plates served in a cozy, lively dining room (even a mock-boat booth). Service is generally friendly and attentive, and portions are generous, though the place gets busy. Be aware of occasional service hiccups, confusing or changing hours and mixed takeout policies. Overall, an unassuming neighborhood spot that reliably satisfies seafood lovers.

I’d like to mention that this restaurant is now called Scotts, and the food remains just as excellent as it always was. The chef is still the same, and the prices haven't changed. Our go-to order is the fish and house-made chips, and they never disappoint. You won’t be let down at all! View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Vicki's:
However, when I ordered the same thing again tonight and requested the homemade tartar sauce, the waitress informed me that it was only available for dine-in customers, not for takeout. She then turned her back on me and ignored my presence. As she began to assist the next customer, she noticed that I was still waiting and, somewhat reluctantly, went to the cooler. I had a truly enjoyable meal and experience at this restaurant. I can confidently say that the seafood special I tried was the best I've ever had. The dish featured a stunning mountain of hand-cut fries topped with piping hot and crispy fish, scallops, clams, and shrimp. I even got to sit in a cozy booth at the back of a mock boat in the dining room! Overall, I was very impressed—especially since the Seafood Special was also the special of the day and only cost me $18, including tip! If you’re looking for a delightful dining experience, I highly recommend giving this unassuming spot a try.
All I want to say is this place is now named Scott's and the food is the same great food it has always been. The cook is the same and the prices has not changed So, our usual order is fish and home made chips and they are always great. You will not be disappointed at all
Met a couple of old friends for supper. The menu has some interesting items and plenty of variety. I had the special, which was fish cakes with baked beans and coleslaw. Generous portions, food was flavourful. One friend had the roast turkey dinner, which he said was well prepared. Average portion size, he felt like he could have eaten a little more. Our server suggested the turkey sandwich without the bread would be a larger meal, but he chose the dinner. He said he should have list to her. The 2nd friend had the clams and scallops which he enjoyed. The 3rd friend had the chicken burger with sweet potato fries. Our server was friendly, and attentive. The wait time for our food was average. We arrived just before the supper rush, but they seemed to be well staffed. There was a constant flow of diners. A pleasant experience. I'll be going back.
Wonderful fish and chips and sea food overall. Love their specials and friendly service. Highly recommend this restaurant to all lovers of seafood.

I've been to Vicki's numerous times to enjoy their excellent fish and chips, but I was really disappointed during my last few visits when I found them closed despite their website stating they were open. Does anyone know if they've reopened? It currently indicates that they are temporarily closed.
She returned with two small containers of tartar sauce, which she dropped upside down into my bag, stating that this would be the last time she could do so. I paid $22 for each order and expected a better level of service, especially regarding my request for homemade tartar sauce. The waitress's behavior was quite rude as she disregarded me and turned away without any consideration.
The website indicated that the restaurant was open, but when we arrived at 4:30 PM, we found a sign stating the hours were from 12 PM to 6 PM. However, there was another sign on the door saying that it was closed. I tried calling, but there was no answer. It seems they must be temporarily closed.
