Balkerne Gate, Table Table Pub.

This was good! Ambience, service, food all super. Extensive menu, including Continental breakfast foods, and fruit juices to compliment the Full English I had.

Popped in for lunch while wasting time waiting for our car to be serviced across the road. Never used the pub before. Nice clean pleasant atmosphere cheap too.would definitely recommend.

We stopped in for a early breakfast, Anna greeted us warmly and we had a great breakfast at a reasonable price. It got really busy as we ate but Anna made sure everyone was well cared for in a calm and efficient way, she really is a gem.

Staying next door at the Premier Inn for a week whilst on a course for work and ate here every evening and breakfast. Now, staying away from home for a week on your own is never that much fun but the staff here have been awesome and made it more than bearable. Friendly and attentive without being too overbearing they always had a smile on their faces and took the time to have a brief chat and ask how my day had been and to wish me a good evening as I left, this was never at the expense of other patrons no matter how busy they were. The food each night matched the service always well cooked, served quickly and tasted great. If I have to come back to Colchester I will definitely return.
