Tucked away off Highway 75, this charming café offers a genuine taste of Southern comfort with standout dishes like chicken-fried chicken, catfish, and exceptional seasonal sides such as broccoli salad. The cozy ambiance, attentive young staff, and occasional visits from the kitchen enhance the welcoming atmosphere. Gluten-free options exist but remain limited. Some diners have noted an unfortunate cross-flavoring issue, likely due to frying multiple items in the same grease, which can affect the taste of non-fish dishes. Despite this, many consider it a hidden gem worth returning to, especially for breakfast and homemade pies.
I followed the reviews to this little place and my god I couldn?t be happier. The chicken fried steak is just fantastic. Hot, juicy and delicious! Come here. You won?t regret it!
Great little Hometown place. We stopped there on the way back to Dallas from Tulsa and got a delicious cheeseburger, some amazing double fried fries and a great chicken sandwich. Very friendly staff. Food is all cooked to order and fresh.
Make sure you do not order the fish strip dinner you will get 4 tiny strips that is the size of a french fry, 1 hushpupe, no tarter sauce i cntjingalled them and they said there is nothing they could do,they sure took my 68.00 with no problem. Wouldnot go back, they will hang up on you. Good luck. J .c.

Their catfish is the best in the area, I’ve tried them all, and it’s rear catfish. Their homemade pies are delicious.
