Great BBQ with a friendly staff. The BBQ itself was tasty, not overly smoked, and there was a nice variety of BBQ sauces available for those who prefer them—although the meat is fine on its own without sauce. The staff was welcoming and attentive. The drink selection primarily focuses on popular beers and just two wines. This is a solid spot for families with kids or larger groups.
The portions are generous and fairly priced. The BBQ is served promptly, allowing us to be in and out in under 30 minutes. The brisket, pulled pork, and baked beans were all outstanding.
The pulled pork was outstanding, with a wonderful smoky flavor that was both tender and juicy. However, the brisket was quite tough, and the ribs were disappointing—I could only manage one bite, as they were fatty, gristly, and lacking the rich smoky flavor you'd expect from BBQ. The service was excellent, and the food arrived quickly, but overall, I don't think I'll be returning.
We ate here for dinner. The service was initially a little slow, but it got better than the night went. The food was excellent. We loved the grill. We will definitely eat again here.
Bubba's is a delicious option for BBQ in Cody! Every time I go to Bubba's I know exactly what I want, and so does my sister, and my parents... And we all have different usual's... their menu is great, because it's one of those where its description accurately fits its product... if it says it's cinnamon roll takes a whole plate, they aren't lying. My favorites are and of their Smoked Turkey Options (Omelettes, Sandwich, Plates) or Their Salad Bar, which is the best salad bar in town! The prices are very fair! There is a reason why this restaurant usually has people waiting out the door, because they don't take reservations, and they make darn good food!
**Restaurant Review: A Mixed Bag of BBQ Delights** This restaurant offers a tantalizing array of barbecue delights, with pulled pork being the standout—smoky, tender, and juicy. While the portions are generous and the prices reasonable, the brisket leaves much to be desired, being notably tough. Ribs can be hit or miss, lacking the rich flavor one typically expects. Service is consistently friendly and prompt, making for a pleasant dining experience. Though drinks are limited to popular beers and a couple of wines, the welcoming atmosphere makes it a solid choice for families and larger groups. Overall, it’s a place that has potential, but improvements are needed.

Good, not great. Veteran-owned business, so worth our support. The salad bar was better than the grill. Also it is bread pudding, not chicken.
Thought the ribs were very good..the sauce on the ribs was good too. The sauce on the table was more of a mustard flavored sauce..good but not great. Nthe brisket was good but could of done with a few more hours on the pit. Beans were excellent. Coleslaw is a pass. The salad bar is a 9 out of 10. The people working here are very nice too. Worth a stop.
Good food, salad bar to die for, especially because we haven't been able to enjoy one in a long time. The customer service AWESOME. Wyoming is DEFINITELY a great place!
Our experience at Bubba's -b-que wasn't the best. The staff were friendly, and our food came out quickly. We chose the combo that featured ribs, brisket, pulled pork, and chicken, along with three sides. We thought the chicken and Texas toast would be the standout dishes, but we were pleasantly surprised by the generous portion of brisket.
We had some uncertainty about what a barbecue restaurant in Cody might be like, especially after experiencing some of the larger BBQ spots in Nashville and St. Louis that raised our expectations. However, the food went above and beyond what we anticipated! I had the BBQ chicken and my wife opted for the pulled pork. Both meals were served in ample portions and cooked exceptionally well. We also liked the variety and quality of the lunch and dinner selections. The service was excellent, and the ambiance was pleasant. We highly recommend giving it a try!
