What Angie GL doesn't like about Singapore Eatz:
Not sure if this is how Singaporean food is supposed to taste but all dishes were SWEET! The bbq pork was more like a dessert dish. Oyster omelette was pretty overpriced too with only 5 oysters and all egg mixed with cornflour I think. Chicken satay was extremely dry and grilled which means no char taste. Not much seafood in the crispy noodles either. Maybe being from Malaysia I’m not used to Singaporean food and tas... View all feedback.
Nice food, good portion too. Had fried kwetiauw, hor fun and teh tarik , about $35 total. Will be coming back
This is just my personal opinion. And we've only tried 2 of the dishes. The Hokkien prawn noodles lacks flavour, portion ok...not big. The saving grace is chilli ... very flavoursome. The black carrot cake is full of flavour. But portion is small for that price. I know it isn't traditional hawker type carrot cake. I can see the effort they put into it...pan fried each cube of carrot cake before making the dish. A bit more up market type of carrot cakeEach dish is about $15/$16.Friendly environment...Friendly staff. Give it a go and form your own opinion.
Very nice food, good customer service and will be coming back.

I recently returned to this restaurant, and I'm glad I did. It seems that both the menu and the chef have improved significantly since my last visit. I was really impressed! We ordered the crab paste fried rice and roasted black radishes. The fried rice was delicious and aromatic, and the portion was huge—definitely worth it. The radish cake was one of the best I've had in Perth. It was delightful—crispy on the outside and wonderfully soft inside. What a treat! I wasn't expecting to enjoy the radishes so much, but they were fantastic. The only area that could use some improvement is the drinks; the tea was too watery and not sweet enough. That's something to work on. However, I enjoyed the meal so much that I will definitely be coming back!
