Was Anonym at Millstone Bread a mag?
The coffee cake has large chunks of a crumbly top, fruit center, rhubarb, I believe. It's light and not too sweet - absolutely perfect. I have never met Doug but the manager and staff are exceptionally friendly. Post script - peanut butter and chocolate cookies are very more-ish. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Millstone Bread:
This is a most popular spot for bread which is absolutely delicious but very expensive. The small shop was jammed when I went in. They do not sell unusual types of bread but the typical is special. While you wait in line, you can glance...around at the numerous bread related items they carry like special jams and lots more. I got a small cheese bread for $6.00 which was fabulous. Tons of sharp cheese thick on the top... View all feedback.

The food is fantastic, and the customer service is exceptional! This is one of my favorite spots in Cobourg. I absolutely love it!
An amazing artisan bakery offering a wide variety of breads, cookies, muffins, and delightful treats!
This is how bread should be made. It's so rare to find this level of quality in Canada. Great job!
Everything is great. Love the addition of the organic greens as well. Worth the trip to Cobourg.

A wonderful craft bakery. It is always a pleasure shopping in Millstone bread where everything is delicious. Their to-go sandwiches are delicious and fill, and their dessert bars and bread are really delicious.
The best sourdough bread. Fantastic moist carrot cake. Butter croissants. Had a large spicy tomato soup. They also have oils, vinegars, crackers, cheese, bullets and pumpkin tartlets with carvings of crystallized ginger in them!
Only one of these old fashionable wonderful places with the smell of freshly baked bread and any speciality you can imagine. We bought sourdough French bread, pumpkin cake, pain in chocolate and ham and cheese croissants as well as chocolate chip oatmeal cookies and a pecan tart. Something about everything. Everyone has done very well, with expert preparation and visual appeal. One of these places that you cannot believe exists in a relatively small town, but it does. Definitely worth a visit.
The breads, cakes, lemon squares, homemade soups, and cheese are all fantastic with a kick! Jill is a delight and truly passionate about creating delicious dishes just for us. This duo works hard and it truly shows in the quality of their food. Enjoy!
The variety of breads, sweets, and cakes at this restaurant are incredible! Make sure to sample their sourdough bread, orange tea cake, lemon tea cake, or any other cake or bread on offer - you won't be disappointed!
