Was Anonym at Trelio a mag?
Several dining room atmospheres, clean, superior service, great food, incredible wine offers. Like the Rolling Stones you can't get Aiways what you want, e.g. no well-made steaks. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Trelio:
Heard ingenious things so pleased to eat here. Great concept and cozy restaurant. The wine and the food was great, although it was overpriced for what you get. The problem we had was the strange mood of the employees that they had a big thing about accelerating us as Walk Ins (despite several empty tables that did not meet for the rest of the night) and we felt compelled to order more food. A shame because the food w... View all feedback.

The food here is almost always delicious. And they have an excellent wine selection. I went for my birthday and they had my name printed on the paper menue which was a nice touch! Did the 5 course meal and it was just the right amount. The bread and butter, ratatouille, pork tenderloin and mushroom cannelloni...omg so delicious. The gazpacho was ehhh....tasted like blended salsa. Service: Dine in

Wow! What a treat to have an amazing restaurant like this in Clovis! All of the food was absolutely delicious and the service was fantastic! My favorites were the corn bisque and the ratatouille so, so good! We will be back for sure. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Trelio, a charming and intimate restaurant in downtown Clovis, offers a delightful dining experience with a dynamic menu that changes regularly. Guests rave about the expertly prepared dishes, such as espresso roast duck and commendable steaks, complemented by an extensive wine list. While some appetizers, like crab cakes and veal meatloaf, are hit or miss, the standout desserts, particularly the blueberry bread pudding, consistently impress. The attentive and cheerful service enhances the overall experience, making Trelio a top choice for couples or small gatherings seeking exceptional food and a cozy atmosphere. A hidden gem that is well worth the visit!.

A truly intimate culinary experience. The food is fantastic, and the wine selection is excellent.
I visited for a business dinner and enjoyed some fresh and creative dishes. I would definitely return the next time I'm in town.
My wife and I had been wanting to try Trelio for years, but we never made it there because it’s a small restaurant that didn’t come to mind when we were deciding where to eat. Now that we’ve finally gone, it’s become one of our favorite spots in the area. The restaurant is cozy, with no more than 15 tables, and the ambiance is lovely. The service was attentive, and the food was outstanding! The menu changes daily, which means you can enjoy new dishes each time you visit, keeping it exciting and fresh. I highly recommend giving this place a try; you'll fall in love with it. It's a fantastic choice for a quiet dinner with your significant other or a small gathering with friends.
Interesting, very small, picturesque, in downtown old Clovis. Large wine card, small dinner menu. Pages included so the price is very good for quality. The salmon was excellently cooked and the Mac N cheese was excellent. If you like small plates specialties dinner, this is for you. If you are looking for the big steak, go to a steak house. Overall a great experience with the woman on the date night.

When our waiter approached us, he offered a choice between still or sparkling water and explained the menu options, which included both full and half courses. It's worth noting that both guests must choose the same option; one person can't order a half course while the other has a full course. If you go for the full course, be prepared to eat! Although the portions are small, the overall quantity is quite satisfying. They also talked about the wine pairings, which were outstanding—I highly recommend them for wine enthusiasts! The Sommelier did an excellent job selecting wines, and we ended up bringing two bottles home with us. The food was exceptional, especially the lavender-smoked lamb tenderloin, and the service was top-notch. I wholeheartedly recommend Trelio to anyone seeking a refined dining experience at a reasonable price, especially when compared to a traditional Michelin restaurant (although I believe it has the potential to earn that distinction in the future)!
Maybe the best meal we 've had in Fresno/Clovis. Got the 5 course meal for dinner. Had a Cajun/Creole flair to new American/California cuisine. Appetizer of crab hush puppies with ranch were phenomenal- definitely tasted the crab but was subtle and weaved through it. French onion soup came in adorable bowl and was delectable. Caramelized onions shined through. The pastas! Got the raviole with meat and chanterelles on top with pesto that was different. Companion got the sun dried tomato with goat cheese and sautéed butter. Was almost getting full but the main entree of sole meunière, shrimp and scallops came which was classic French. Fish cooked perfectly with crispy outside and tender inside. He got the pork tenderloin which was also very tender over buttery mashed potatoes. Dessert was good but not wowed. Butterscotch panna cotta was very sweet and rich, and the almond florentine cookie on top was amazing. He got the bread pudding which was tasty but not the most unique. The wine pairings were excellent and really made the meal too. Our waitress ' excitement and passion in describing the wines made the experience that much better. Ambiance is romantic quiet but can get loud depending on nearby diners. Parking is in the public parking lots across street or on street.
First time trying Trelio after wanting to for a long time, and boy was it worth the wait! It's a small place, so reservations are important. I was worried when booking they said they kept it around 68 degrees inside, so I did dress more warmly despite it being summer. Fortunately I was comfortable and didn't need my jacket, but was glad I had the heads up. Inside is quaint with low lighting and even personalized menus when you are seated at your table. The service was phenomenal and because they don't have a high volume of customers, they can give you a lot of attention during your multi course meal. My fiancé got the wine pairing with his meal, so for each course the sommelier came out to explain the wine choice for that course. Everything was beautifully presented and lovingly made. The flavors were wonderful on all the courses. It is definitely expensive, so it's something more for special occasions probably, but goodness, what a treat! It was such a great experience overall and well worth it, especially if celebrating something special.
Our go to for our Anniversary dinner. Last night did not disappoint again! The price fix menu has lots of variety to choose from. Our server was prompt, friendly, and frequented our table for all our needs. The tables were spaced enough to have an intimate conversation. The food was perfectly cooked, presented, and delicious!
My girlfriends and I like to do monthly dinners. Sometimes we get to try places we haven't been to before. One of the gals chose Trelio to venture to this particular evening. All I have to say is this experience was fun! I loved it. It is definitely a different dining experience than what I am used to. Trelio is located on Clovis Avenue in Old Town Clovis. Parking is available behind the restaurant or in front. We found the parking to be easily available. Reservations are required. They have four options for seating when you make your reservation. You can choose from their main dining area, library, garden patio or bar. Their website gives a detailed description of each. We chose the dining room when making our reservation. When you arrive at the restaurant, you will be immediately greeted. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Once you get to your table, take a peak at your menu. It has the last name of person who made the reservation on it. We thought was that pretty cool and a great personal touch to make us all feel welcomed. The menu is a prix fixe menu, but the dishes will change seasonally. There are two options to choose from. The option is their full menu which is a delicious 9 course meal. The second option is their abbreviated menu which is a choice of an entree or dessert. We decided to go with the 9 course option. This was a great experience as you got to experience various dishes. The staff who served us would describe each dish to us as they brought it out . Each dish definitely stood out on their own. I definitely recommend that you try out Trelio if you are looking for a very unique dining experience.

The Calabrese focaccia, risotto, and Flannery coulotte steak were outstanding! However, the Mahi-Mahi was overly salty for my taste, and the Conchiglie shrimp had an excessive amount of pesto, which overwhelmed the dish. Overall, though, it was a nice restaurant.
This is our favorite fine dining restaurant in the Fresno/Clovis area. They offer the best wine selection around, and there’s really no close second. The menu changes seasonally and quite often, which makes each visit exciting. It’s hard to resist their cheese and charcuterie board, especially since they prepare all their meats in-house. There’s also a great variety of new pasta dishes to try that can compete with those at Annex. Their dry-aged beef alone would make them the top steakhouse in town, and the other meat dishes are equally impressive. The service is outstanding; everyone is friendly and takes the time to get to know you personally. They remember your preferences and provide excellent recommendations based on what you enjoy.
I always have a great dining experience here! The food is fantastic, the wine selection is excellent, and the staff is amazing! Plus, I really appreciate the reclaimed wood, live-edged tables, and cozy leather booths!
AMAZING food, from the sea salt bread to the escargot over garlic parsley risotto to the best (ever) goat cheese on the green salad to the duck, it was all superb. I took away one star because I didn't care for the coffee or the bourbon carmel sauce with the bread pudding. As far as the dinner itself, spectacular! Or compliments to Chef Chris!
Trelio is lovely. We love that their menu changes regularly and that they have a dynamic wine list. Everytime we go is a new experience. We love the fine good and adventure!

Our favorite fine dining spot in the Fresno/Clovis area. They boast the best wine selection around, with no close competition. The menu is seasonal and changes often, making each visit exciting. It's hard to resist the cheese and charcuterie board, as all their meats are crafted in-house. I enjoy sampling the various new pasta dishes, which rival those at Annex but offer much more variety. Their dry-aged beef alone would earn them the title of the best steakhouse in town, and the other meat dishes are just as impressive. The service is outstanding—everyone is friendly and genuinely interested in getting to know you. They remember your preferences and provide thoughtful suggestions based on what you like.
I had heard great things about this restaurant and was excited to try it for dinner. The concept is fantastic, and the atmosphere is cozy. The wine and food were delicious, but I felt the prices were a bit high for what we received. Unfortunately, we encountered a strange vibe from the staff. They seemed to make a big deal out of accommodating us as walk-ins, even though there were several empty tables that remained unfilled throughout the evening. We also felt pressured to order more food. It’s unfortunate because the food was lovely, but the way we were treated detracted from our overall experience. I hope this was just an off day.
My pork chop was a bit too salty, and the parmesan polenta could use a touch more cheese. The risotto, however, is a much better complement than the polenta. The focaccia was slightly burnt on the bottom, but the herb butter and the olive oil with balsamic and roasted garlic were delicious. The nuts and seed salsa with the sherry gastrique could have been cooked a bit longer; it was a little too al dente. My husband’s veal was tasty, but it needed something more than just the potatoes and fried carrots. Our daughter's scallops seemed a little overcooked, but the Wagyu steak was cooked perfectly. The apple and raisin bread pudding was absolutely delightful, especially when paired with the dark chocolate ice cream. The wine was excellent, as was the dessert wine. Overall, the atmosphere is very cozy and the waitstaff is outstanding!
