Reviews - Something Different Grill-clovis 2
Reviews summary
At Something Different Grill, diners report a wide spectrum of experiences. While some rave about the hearty fiesta salad and flavorful green chili stew, others express disappointment with long wait times and food quality. Patrons enjoyed the New York cheesecake topped with strawberries, but many noted issues like cold dishes, incorrect orders, and indifferent service. The trendy rustic-chic atmosphere adds appeal, but the inconsistency in food preparation and delivery detracts from an otherwise promising dining experience. While some dishes delight, caution is advised to ensure a satisfying visit.

A fantastic restaurant with amazing food and quick, friendly service. The spaghetti dinner I enjoyed was the best I've ever had, no question about it. Thank you! - Thomas
Small catfish huge potatoes they didn't get my no chives request correct and the potato could have cooked a little long.
I always have a great time dining at Something Different Grill. Their fiesta salad is a favorite of mine, and I recently tried their green chili stew, which I found fantastic. It was filled with hearty chunks of potato and pork, making it incredibly delicious on a chilly day. I can’t wait for my next visit!
The website mentioned that delivery would take an hour. After waiting that long, I called to inquire about the status of my order, and I was informed that it had just begun being prepared and would be arriving soon. While I don't mind waiting for my delivery, I would prefer more accurate updates regarding the estimated arrival time. Ultimately, it took nearly two hours for my order to arrive.

Staff was very friendly and food served up quickly. I had one of the potatoes and it was huge! Great meal, and nice, clean restaurant.
Here visiting from Dallas and wanted to try this place first since I didn't get to try it last year. First off, phenomenal customer service!!!!! Loved the fried green beans, but everything else was pretty standard. ?????
Great experience! Missing a star only because my food was cold! But, the food did taste amazing! The atmosphere was super trendy! Yet it was true to the location. I'd describe it as rustic chic.
I usually prefer not to complain, but my experience at this restaurant was disappointing. We placed our lunch order shortly after noon, anticipating a wait of around 60 minutes as stated on their website. However, we ended up waiting nearly two hours before I called to check on our order. I was told that it was already out for delivery. An additional hour passed before I called again, only to discover that our order had been delivered to the wrong address. They offered to bring the food to me, but at that point, my patience had completely run out.
The egg rolls are quite good, and the sweet potato fries are tasty as well. However, the teriyaki chicken and shrimp bowls taste like they came straight from the freezer, and the experience doesn't feel like a true Asian restaurant. If you're looking for authentic Chinese food, I wouldn't recommend settling for this place. The flavors taste artificial, so keep that in mind before you order.
