Portions were more manageable, and the food was good, and a reasonable price.

As a tourist, it made... read more It's funny to read the reviews about the deli staff. We didn't order from them but they were scowling at us from behind the meat counter. As a tourist, it made me giggle. We shopped the fresh baked goods. So delicious! Made my day to eat those with some salted butter. I would say it was pricey, but hey--it's 2023. We got bread, crackers, packaged meat, yogurt, a block of cheddar, apples, mayo, jelly, Boursin--stuff to make snacks out of...I'd say it was worth it. It was also the closest grocery store to where we were staying, just a quick walk to grab it all. That made it appealing, too. Yeah, it's a cute shop. Customer service is nothing to write home about, but that doesn't bother me at all.
