What Anonym dislikes about O'Keeffe's:
My daughter and I recently dined in the bar at the Emmet Hotel in Clonakilty. We ordered two toasted specials with chips and tea. We were a bit surprised to receive our toasted specials on open brown bread, which didn’t look very appealing. While the taste was okay, it wasn’t what we had expected. Too much friendly staff and reasonable prices. I am really surprised to buy from this shop.
Generally a good selection of product, some of the younger staff a male in particular would want to lose the attitude and look up the meaning of customer service it isn't a privilege for him to put down his phone and take my money
Great artisan quality and range of stock, for a local convenience store. Fresh cheese, dairy, bread, etc. and the usual stuff.
As a building contractor, I need a filling lunch, and O'Keeffe's certainly delivers. Their meats are excellent, salads are generous, and sandwiches or rolls are stuffed to the brim—no skimping at all. All this, along with a coffee, costs just over 6 euros, and the friendly staff make the experience even better. Honestly, where else would you go for lunch?

Had eaten in the resaurant a good few years ago and it was very good, with over generous portions. This time we ate in the bar, same menu as the restaurant. Portions were more manageable, and the food was good, and a reasonable price.
Delightful dishes that are straightforward yet expertly prepared, featuring local ingredients like black pudding, crab, and Marie O'Keeffe's renowned pâté.
We also wondered why we were given the same brown bread usually served with soup, especially since the table next to us received regular bread for their toasted specials. Although we were disappointed, we chose not to complain. The staff, however, were friendly and pleasant.
Charming spot in the center of Clonakilty, with warm, welcoming staff and ingredients sourced locally. Very cozy atmosphere.
We both ordered burgers, but the presentation and flavor were disappointing. The chips were served in wooden bowls that looked like something from a wedding after-party two decades ago. The furniture appeared worn and rundown. The bartender/waiter was quite a character...
