Stopped in Cong, which was later in the day and had dinner here, which was a lovely pub with great food.

The food was unique each day and very good. Not a large number of tables and the staff was super friendly. Good lunch place.

read moreThe Quiet Man Cafe in Cong, Co. Mayo, offers a delightful dining experience and friendly staff. Despite a limited lunch menu, the coffee and chocolate mousse cake come highly recommended. The attached shop provides a decent selection of goods and adds to the overall charm. Visitors can immerse themselves in the history of the village, including tales from the movie The Quiet Man and a strolling Minstrel tour. The cafe's informal atmosphere and frozen Greek yogurt make it a must-visit spot, perfect for enjoying with a cup of Americano. Consider stopping by for a meal and exploring the lovely neighboring gift shop.
