Clearly capitalizing on the Quiet Msn theme as does the rest of the village. Large mural in the shop. Decent selection of typical food and drink. Decent place to rest for a bit. Friendly folks. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Big Tree Pub Quiet Man:
While the cafe itself was closed for the season (early October), when I visited, I spent a fair bit of time in the attached shop. I had hoped to have a chance to sit down for a meal, but alas. The shop has a decent...selection its staff was friendly. View all feedback.
Stopped in Cong, which was later in the day and had dinner here, which was a lovely pub with great food.
They used to have a cafe which we liked. But we bring our friends into the Woolen Mills that is there for gifts..
The food was unique each day and very good. Not a large number of tables and the staff was super friendly. Good lunch place.

One of our favorite actresses, Maureen O'HARA is considered a daughter of this historic little town where the movie The Quiet Man was made. Stop by this little cafe and hear stories from the locals of the making of this movie. Don't forget to take...a tour with the strolling Minstel and learn of the history of Ireland, the church's and the beautiful lay of the land during your tour. A must see if you are in the Castlebar area.
