Superb caravan park with bar and restaurant attached. The menu is limited but is good. The location is superb! Looking out to sea from the bar and quaffing an ale or two is so relaxing! View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Crabpot Bar:
Just passing thru for the night and stayed at attached van park. Bar/ restaurant area was very dated, but it was clean and friendly. Had to order dinner by 5:30 and pick up at 6:30, which is a great idea to save waste. We ordered and had a drink, went back to van and bathed kids and back by 6:30. There were a few people in front of us but they pushed our meal thru as the kids were tired after a big day traveling. We... View all feedback.

I was staying at a truck parking bay nearby and came here for dinner that night. Had a lovely prawn salad, which was just what I was wanting. Beats truck stop food! Reasonable prices for food and drink. Great to relax outside and unwind after a day's driving and enjoy the lovely sea view. You are right on the water edge here. Would dine here again for sure!

We had our meals as takeaway and thought it a bit dear for fish n chips but were sadly mistaken when we picked up our meals as they were to die for. Have paid more for less at other "proper" restaurants. Kids loved their nuggets n chips and there was nothing left on our plates.
The food was well prepared and the portions large. The main daily menu was limited, understandably, and changed daily. Additionally there was some standard items, Southern fried chicken and chips stuff, that were available most of the time. I enjoyed my stay but my problems, caused by UK card people, put a real downer on my stop-over.

I give this restaurant 5 stars for its atmosphere on a Friday night! The pub had great music and a lively family-friendly vibe. The food was delicious, but the Barramundi serving size was smaller than expected. The playground was a hit with the kids, but it would be beneficial to have better visibility for parents at the tables. The amenities were clean but looked a bit dated. The main downside was the restaurant's proximity to the train line and highway, with no sound barrier, which made it difficult to sleep well. The staff were friendly and laid back. Overall, this place has a lot of potential but seems to have a loyal following already.
This is a beautiful place to stop for the night.. or more! We were just passing through on our way down south and we were so happy with Barracrab Caravan Park. The setting is stunning, right on the beach! The service was impeccable, so friendly and helpful. Probably the nicest caravan park staff we have ever met. We had dinner in the restaurant too and it was delicious and reasonably priced. I definitely recommend this spot to anyone on the long drive down the coast, you will leave feeling refreshed. We will definitely come again!
Have stayed at least 6 times over the last couple of years. The setting is stunning and the service is wonderful. The upgrades that are happening are to be applauded as they all take time, and are appreciated by us. If fellow users of facilities were more considerate of others and used tbe provided mop after their shower the floors would remain sand free a bit longer. Come on fellow travellers think of others it is not that hard.
This place is awesome, great atmosphere, very relaxing. Staff are the best, great crabbing, great for the children. Highly recommend for a stop over either for a rest or do some serious fishing crabbing. Good sites, ask for a front beach site if available. The Manager even offered to lend me crab pots if I needed them.
If you want 5 star then move on....but if want to stay right on the beach in a casual place with good, if not glamorous facilities then this place is for you. Staff are very friendly and efficient and prices are very reasonable. The cafe/bar is straight off the beach and serves really good pub food. I got in just after 7.30pm and by 8pm I had a terrific dinner in front of me that was better than most pubs.
