We enjo... read more After a long drive from Brisbane, our first stop was very relaxing. The staff were friendly, the park was clean, and the amenities were well-maintained. We enjoyed some great walks along the beach at low tide, although we missed high tide because we were only staying for one night. The bar was lovely and the meals were generous and tasty. There was plenty of room for kids to run around and have fun. Overall, it was a great experience and it's easy to have a good time here.

The food was delicious, but the Barramundi serving size was smaller than expected. The playground was a hit with the kids, but it would be beneficial to have better visibility for parents at the tables. The amenities were clean but looked a bit dated. The main downside was the restaurant's proximity to the train line and highway, with no sound barrier, which made it difficult to sleep well. The staff were friendly and laid back. Overall, this place has a lot of potential but seems to have a loyal following already.

We were just passing through on our way down south and we were so happy with Barracrab Caravan Park. The setting is stunning, right on the beach! The service was impeccable, so friendly and helpful. Probably the nicest caravan park staff we have ever met. We had dinner in the restaurant too and it was delicious and reasonably priced. I definitely recommend this spot to anyone on the long drive down the coast, you will leave feeling refreshed. We will definitely come again!

The facilities are spotless, the staff is welcoming, and the onsite bar grill offers a small but satisfying menu of popular dishes that are freshly prepared and delicious. The option for takeout was a lifesaver when it started raining and we couldn't bring our dog inside the dining area. This place is a gem, right on the beachfront.

Highly recommend for a stop over either for a rest or do some serious fishing crabbing. Good sites, ask for a front beach site if available. The Manager even offered to lend me crab pots if I needed them.
