Several of our residents stopped in this morning to White Oak Coffee House and the ladies working there were incredibly patient and accommodating to our larger group. Several people had hot chocolates and ooey gooey cake, while I had a chai latte and ham and cheese croissant. So good! We will definitely be back for more yummy treats! View all feedback.
I have been living down the street for 7 yrs..passed it by countless times. I work downtown so I usually go to 1215 or Emporium. So I decided to stop in. Extremely friendly, good coffee, HOWEVER, that dang coffee cake. There needs to be an investigation on the ingredients..addicted
Been here a couple times, and every time everything has been great! The only thing that made me think twice was that there was a woman giving out free samples today, and I was never offered one. She offered everyone a sample that walked in after me, and even offered after they had ordered. She never offered me one. I was the only non-white person there at the time. I would hope those two things weren’t related. Just an observation.
THIS PLACE!!! I’m visiting from Indiana and was looking for a place for coffee and fresh bagels. First off, it looks like a house on the outside which is adorable, and the inside is so cozy and welcoming. The owner was amazing!! I got a somoa hot drink, a croissant which they put in toaster oven and a burrito with a special sausage, egg and cheese and it was soooo good! My friend got the chicken salad and that was also amazing. 100% recommend!!!
A true mom n’ pop oasis in the desert of coffee chains that dominate this area. Kind employees, great coffee and local products, and a cozy “coming home” atmosphere. Plenty of dairy-free options, but note there’s a $3 minimum if paying with card. Wish they had evening hours, but it’s always nice to start a weekend morning here.
Such a pleasant and beautiful cafe! This is exactly what the neighborhood needed. The prices are very reasonable and the pastries were delicious! They even gave us a free slice of cherry pie! My only gripes are that you close too early and are closed Sundays. My wife and I would love to make this place our new study area on a weekend evening.
