We were at the Eye Institute and I found this high rated breakfast place on goggle. At first it seems a little strange setting but once the owner/chef greeted us, it was a great experience. We were lucky for we were catered to quickly and no one else was there for about 20 minutes. Until others “regulars” came in. The food was freshly made and the crepes were delicious. I ordered the veggie and the steak for it was s... View all feedback.

Was looking forward and going here went hear the doors are locked up business appears to be out of business. Phone number disconnected. Google listing needs to be updated to reflect permanently closed Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 View all feedback.
The restaurant is very clean and nicely decorated. The owner is very friendly and made the wait for the food enjoyable with great conversation. I ordered the western omelet crepe, the Nutella and strawberry banana crepe, a milk-based coffee drink, and 2 waffle sticks. The food took about 15 to 20 minutes to be ready because everything is cooked to order, which is great. The crepes were delicious and highly recommended. The drink was good, but the waffle sticks were undercooked with runny batter in the center. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but one of the meals was ruined due to undercooked food. I may give the restaurant a second chance in the future, but I'm not eager to return.
Bitter Sweet is a fantastic restaurant with a very sweet owner. I have eaten in, done takeout, and even had delivery during the pandemic. My favorite item is the breakfast crepe with banana creme. I have also tried new dishes and love the variety on their menu. I have gifted gift certificates to family and friends because I think everyone should try it. My daughter, Rene, also loves it. Our family gives it a 5-star rating. The service is excellent for dining in. - Debbie
The service at this restaurant was excellent, although there was a slight delay in receiving our food. The quality of the food was good, but I would have liked to see more syrup options available, such as real maple syrup which can really elevate a dish. Our group ordered a variety of crepes, smoothies, and coffee, both savory and sweet. I would have preferred the coffee to be served in a mug instead of a disposable cup. Overall, I would rate the food a 3, the service a 4, and the atmosphere a 3.
The owner who was working the counter was kind and wanted to make sure my drink tasted great. You can get pretty creative with your tea, smoothie, coffee which is fun! Several places to sit and plenty of room. Several little trinkets/rings/dried fruit that would make fun little gifts.
This place not only has amazing crepes and outstanding frappes, but the owner is the sweetest most wonderful woman you could ever meet . I love looking around while I wait for my Western crape to be made. And it has an amazing seating area, and board games already stocked. I love going here to get great service, amazing food, and a smile (and maybe an extra item or two from the shop area lol). This place is definitely the local place to support... Kid-friendliness: Plenty of board games and seating
