The service and food at this restaurant were excellent. The man at the register and the manager took extra care to ensure my mom had a wonderful birthday meal. We had a great time laughing with them. Thank you!
I have been a fan of Tom and Chee since their days as a stand on Fountain Square. However, my recent visit was a bit disappointing. This particular location seems to be very understaffed. The employees who are there are working hard, but the wait for a grilled cheese was almost fifteen minutes, which was not ideal. The food itself was tasty, but the location appeared a bit rundown and dirty, likely due to the staffing issues. I hope they can resolve their staffing problems because I do enjoy the food.
Excellent tomato soup and grilled sandwiches. A bit on the heavy side but their salads also look phenomenal. Quick and friendly service with very reasonable pricing. Worth stopping in for a quick bite!
Tom Chee is an excellent place to stop and have lunch. We stopped in on a particularly cold day. We both got the build your own sandwich and my companion got the creamy tomato soup. I typically skip fast food soup, but she gave me a taste of hers and I was raving so loudly about it hat the staff brought me a complimentary tasting portion. I can not sing their praises enough. Wonderful staff. Speedy service. Clean restaurant. Reasonable prices.
