In town visiting from Palm Desert and I was in the mood for a good Rib Eye, The 19th Hole was the perfect choice. I worked for Mastro's Steakhouse for several years, so I have had a few good cuts of steak in my life, but this one stands out. I love that the steaks are oak wood fire grilled, definitely adds another level of flavor. Service was great, if you like great food, I highly recommend trying them out, you will... What Jenny D doesn't like about The 19th Hole:
Service at the bar and the table was 5 stars. Ambience is Western throwback absolutely authentic including all the trucks in the parking lot. For food, we had a steak and tri tip with baked potatoes and salad on the side. In the future, I would not recommend either of these. I would go instead for the wings and a burger. It would be better to go for bar food at this restaurant. View all feedback.

TL;DR The service we received really tanked my review. 1 star service but the burger and the beers are worth the visit. A no frills dining experience with top notch burgers and local beer on tap. We came in a little before 4pm on a Saturday and there was no wait. We accidentally entered at the bar and were not greeted/welcomed, I'm assuming (kindly that it's because it wasn't the main entrance. We found the host and were seated promptly in a little back add on room (max capacity: 12 . However, our server took exactly 10 minutes to greet us, which was a tough start given the lack of crowd. (Honestly, I was starving and was planning to go back to the bar had it been a minute more. We ordered the Hawaiian IPA and the Kolsch from Brewery Twenty Five and they were incredibly refreshing! Cute branded pint glasses. We also ordered jalapeno poppers and they come with a plastic side of ranch (no frills, again . Perfect breaded and fried with a healthy (err unhealthy? amount of cream cheese! When our server returned, we ordered the hard rider and cowboy burger. Both were typical, classic burgers. It was a good post hike meal, but not one I'm planning to have again.

The service is pretty good, portions are a good size. It's usually busy but we've never had to wait terribly long. Great for families or big groups being that it's loud. Our server was super helpful and recommended a soggy margarita with Tajín on the rim which was delicious.
I think they should value customers who want to order food to go. Regardless, if you're backed up in the kitchen, you give the customer a timeframe of when their food is going to be done and you could've warned the customer that we are backed up in the kitchen and your food is gonna take twice as long. We would've been more than happy to wait. That's what to go is for, to wait until the food is ready and then when the food is ready to head to the restaurant to pick it up. I think the woman on the phone just did not want to have to place a to go order because she might've been busy with her tables and I think that is unfortunate because you're losing business.
