Hadn't been to Thai Express in years. Walk in and nothing had changed at all. The staff is so gracious and welcoming. The Chicken Pad Thai was just as good as it was the first time I had it. Thai Express has been in that spot for 25 years and nothinghas changed. ????????????????????????
If you want authentic Thai, apparently this is the spot. My Thai friend, working in Cincy, couldn't believe I was so lucky to have such authentic food so nearby, at such good prices. I wouldn't know authentic Thai if you spilled it on me, but I know thefood at Thai Express is always delicious and never a bad idea*. *DO NOT PLAY WITH THE SPICE NUMBERS HERE. It's 1-10 for areason. We know you're a big strong guy, Biff, ordering a spice lvl 10 won't make you a hero.
Love this place, eaten from here at least a dozen times. Best Thai food I?ve ever had. Perhaps the best Asian food as well. Only downside is that the closest parking spots require payment even if you?re just dropping by for 3 minutes. Last time I placed anorder, there was a slight mixup that ended with my order being level 5 (spicy) but I ended up enjoying it more than my normallevel zero. Mixups don?t normally happen, so don?t worry. This is someplace you must swing by and get food at, the spring rollsare to die for.
Absolutely incredible. The Tonkotsu Ramen (Pork Marron Bone Broth) is one of the best things I have ever eaten. The steamed pork Gyoza was a great pairing. Cant waitto try more from here.
I highly recommend this place but, fair warning. When they say authentic Japanese they arent kidding. My first bite of the Takoyaki completely blew my mind as Ive never had it before, dried fish paper with sea weed topping it. With an almost smokey flavor and a crispy outside with soft yet very chewy octopus on the inside. The Tonkotsu Ramen (Pork Marron Bone Broth) had slices of very fatty pork with bamboo slices and mushrooms, a tiny soft boiled egg with a neatly rolled ball of spinach, honestly it was exactly as the picture looks and the broth came in its own little cup nice and hot. with a creamy yet oily texture and a nice spice I couldnt place for anything! so when I say fair warning I mean they give exactly what they advertise, authentic unamericanized traditional Japanese Ramen. The flavors are exotic and unique and honestly I could see not everyone liking them but as for me and my wife we absolutely loved it! 10/10 will be buying often!
