Contribute FeedbackIn this collection of reviews for a restaurant, there were varying experiences shared by diners. While some found the gluten-friendly options to be limited and the cleanliness of the restrooms lacking, others praised the service provided by the attentive staff. The food was a mixed bag, with some diners feeling that it was average and overpriced, while others raved about dishes like the mushroom crepe and ricotta cream waffle with lemon curd. Despite some issues with seating comfort and bill accuracy, patrons still enjoyed the atmosphere and cocktails offered. Overall, the restaurant seems to have a loyal following, with many patrons expressing their love for the food and planning their visits around meals at this establishment.
Near the stadium and the river with outside seating, this is a nice place for good Belgian food. This part of the city is filled with activity and you can relax and enjoy the view while you munch on a fantastic belgian menu. We had the beltucky hot brown and the waffle chicken. Will come back for more!
For a Chicago in downtown, Cincinnati is sort of a enigma. Although the city seems to be very big, it is not super busy. We were looking for a restaurant for dinner and came across this chain that seem to have a nice blend of dessert and entrées. One of the major problems of this restaurant is trying to find the entrance to the underground parking, we had previously gone to the railway museum and found the entrance after circling around for 30 minutes. If you can find the right entrance, you will pop up right beside the restaurant and it’s not a far walk. The service was spectacular and our server was super friendly. I was surprised I had ordered the steak entrée and it was one of the most tender pieces of beef I’ve ever had, it was almost better than a five star steakhouse. The Belgian waffles are different than the typical ones that you may be familiar with. They are liege waffles, so they are a lot more dense. overall with the different selections I would say that the waffles are 3 to 4 out of five stars, I definitely have had better but in my opinion, the entrée was the star one pro tip is sign up on their Facebook page for promotions and coupons. I ended up getting my entrée free which is nice savings.
TLDR: The waffles are amazing My partner and I ate here for brunch. We really enjoyed the service and the food here. My partner had the Mcwaffle sandwich with SBL-Mimosa. I had the waffle and chicken with vacay mimosa. The waffles are amazing. My partner's mumosa was so good that I would have stolen it if my musosa hadn't been as amazing as his. We definitely come back here when we visit Cincinnati. We ate outside what was nice, because they have heating.
Delicious beer and food! Caleb's suggestions were absolutely spot on and perfect for us. Could not have asked for a better afternoon treat. The chicken and waffles are a must try! Highly recommend.
We love Taste of Belgium so much that we plan our vacation departure times around what will get us there for a meal! I've never had better waffles and the rest of their food is amazing as well. This location is really convenient to Great American Ballpark and Paul Brown Field as well as Riverbank Park. There's some street parking right outside and a parking deck directly below the restaurant.
