O... read more I had dinner at The Symphony for the first time, and it was a great experience. The chicken entrée and yeast rolls were definitely the highlights of the meal! Our server, Shelby, made the experience even better with her attentiveness and willingness to accommodate our requests for minor menu changes. The hostess was also very attentive. My only suggestion would be to consider updating the seating in the dining room; while the historical ambiance is charming, it isn't always comfortable for guests. Overall, I would rate my first visit a solid five stars. Thank you!

However, delivery from the kitchen was slow and the food--at least the food we ordered as part of the three course fixed price menu required here--was very ordinary and in retrospect high priced. Very convenient for a pre-Music Hall dinner but not for us from a value dinner point of view.

We really enjoy the atmosphere, whether we're dining in the main room or relaxing in the lounge. Buzz, the bartender, crafts excellent cocktails and offers fantastic service in the lounge. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the gazpacho and her pork chop special, while I opted for the chicken broth soup and the cod, both of which I highly recommend. We also indulged in the peach cherry cobbler for dessert, and it was remarkable.

Everyone at the table had a equally... read more The Symphony Hotel Restaurant is a must-dine restaurant if you are in the Cincinnati area. The 5 course meal was excellent. Everyone at the table had a equally delicious entree. Whether it was the scallops and shrimp, the butter broiled cod, the stuffed chicken or the steak -we loved every bite. The fresh ingredients were the star of the show. The service was just as great, ensuring we were on time for the Opera. I'd definitely recommend this place.
