I had dinner at The Symphony for the first time and it was very enjoyable. The highlights of the meal were the chicken and the yeast rolls! The experience was made even better by our server, Shelby, who was attentive and accommodating. She was always willing to accommodate our small requests regarding the menu. the restaurant in rehabbed hotel is sorta charming and the service was excellent. the delivery from the kitchen was slow, however, and eating - at least that we ordered in the frame of the three cure fixed price menu here - was very common and high price in retrospect. very practical for a pre-music hall dinner, but not for us from a valuable dinner. We were there for dinner before the opera and they know how to make sure you are on time. The food and wine were delightful.

However, delivery from the kitchen was slow and the food--at least the food we ordered as part of the three course fixed price menu required here--was very ordinary and in retrospect high priced. Very convenient for a pre-Music Hall dinner but not for us from a value dinner point of view.
The Symphony Hotel Restaurant is a must-dine restaurant if you are in the Cincinnati area. The 5 course meal was excellent. Everyone at the table had a equally delicious entree. Whether it was the scallops and shrimp, the butter broiled cod, the stuffed chicken or the steak -we loved every bite. The fresh ingredients were the star of the show. The service was just as great, ensuring we were on time for the Opera. I'd definitely recommend this place.
