From start to finish, our evening was nothing short of exceptional. Our server, Kaitlyn, delivered what was truly the best service I've ever received. She was warm, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable—not only about the menu, but also the rich history of the restaurant and its owners. Kaitlyn and her assistant, Ethan, managed our party of 12 seamlessly while also taking care of other tables. Not once did our drinks sit empty. The attention to detail and care was outstanding. A special thank you to Jen, who graciously offered us the private dining room for the evening—it made the night feel even more special. The food? Phenomenal. The steaks were cooked to perfection, and I even had the opportunity to try the Grand Champion Miyazaki Wagyu from Japan—it was like steak butter melting in your mouth. A rare and unforgettable experience. Don’t leave without trying the butter pie—it was a crowd favorite and the perfect sweet finish to an incredible meal. This was a high-class dining experience in every sense. I cannot recommend The Precinct enough—and if you go, ask for Kaitlyn. You won’t regret it. The service was a little spotty that evening, but our server ended up making it up to us with a credit to our bill, which I was extremely impressed with. I do believe this is my favorite restaurant in Cincinnati. Price per person: $50–100 Dietary restrictions: They were excellent with my dairy allergy! No problem for them.

We sat in the bar which felt a little mor... read more Went for my 40th Birthday and as always it never disappoints. I wish that every restaurant had servers like Jeff Ruby. We sat in the bar which felt a little more casual than normal but the servers were attentive and Jordan the manager was making his rounds to ensure everyone was having a great experience. The food speaks for itself in the photos I have added. The oysters were fresh, the steak cooked perfect and I forgot that the precinct includes a salad, starch and asparagus. I upgraded to the seasonal watermelon salad and it was to die for!

The Precinct is such an incredible experience to have and I am so happy I was finally able to go. I dined with 2 other friends, including one celebrating a birthday. We dined on Saturday night 8:30 and didn't wait long for our table. The staff is incredibly friendly, including the host Jayden (I believe was her name) and our server Matt was just fantastic. Matt was knowledgeable, attentive, charismatic, and well-rounded. He took really good care of us. My friends and I have made this THE spot for every special occasion we have. All of us ordered filets. I requested the Steak Collinsworth after Matt informed us it was one of the most popular dishes and has been around since the 80's. It's their take on an Oscar style crowning. It was the best steak I ever had, probably ever will have, in my life. Melts in your mouth and you never want it to end. Absolutely phenomenal experience I will never forget. My friends and I are still talking about it 2 days later.
