We had a bad experience here. Staff is super friendly. Overall it seemed understaffed and they couldn’t keep up unfortunately. The cheese balls were still frozen inside. The yuca fries seemed to absorb an abnormal amount of the grease from frying it wasnearly inedible. Clearly this points to a fryer issue during our visit. Out of most drinks as well. The burger was fantasticso I’ll likely give another try to the place for that alone, though.
Tried this lovely place during #cincinnatiwingweek those harbenero wings were delicious not too hot. But a nice tingling on the tongue. Staff was nice. You all should check them out. I plan on coming back to try their empanadas and Mofongo bowls.
This was the most unappetizing meal I ever had. They have no concept of what mofongo is. The plantain mash was burn.. After I returned the first portion, I got the same garbage. Go to an authentic Puerto Rican Restaurant to get the real McCoy. One starfor trying!
First time in it was clean comfortable. Staff was nice attentive. I like the recycling option. They were low on a lot of items on a Friday evening. My chicken sandwich was not made with care as both the bread cheese were burnt. My friends didenjoy their bowl options. Drinks were fine.
The first time I came here I loved it but I don't live in the area so it had probably been about a year or so since I had gotten food from them and wow, a lot has changed and not for the better. I got the San Juan Mofongo Bowl which overall was way toosalty, the pork was very fatty and the plantain mash in the bottom was overcooked. I'm sad to say that I only ate about aquarter of it until I couldn't eat any more. The staff also wasn't very attentive and were more focused on their conversationwith each other than taking my order which definitely made me feel awkward and like they didn't want to serve me.
