However, there are also positive remarks about the service, some dishes being tasty, and a good overall dining experience. The restaurant is set to close soon, leaving loyal patrons saddened by the loss of this French dining icon. Despite some issues, many customers still express a fondness for the establishment and wish them the best in their future endeavors.
Unknown for us, the restaurant was closed in a few days of our anniversary reservation When I list everything that went wrong here, people will not believe it. Let's say it was a dead fly in my napkin, COLD (as in the refrigerator) clear white rice on my wife's plate, and it was clear that this was not these restaurants best hour when the sunset approached. It was clear that the host and the staff took care of regular guests, but that was the worst experience we ever had. I leave many details, but believe me when I say you haven't missed much if you don't go to this restaurant towards the end of his government.
We had a late business dinner. They were very accommodating, although we were by far the last people there. Even took a special request from a vegetarian and did a good job with it.
The entire experience was the first rate. We sat immediately and our beverage order was immediately accepted. Our server was very underestimated, but attentive. The steak au poivre was excellent and the bread was excellent. The chocolate mousse was the perfect end of a wonderful meal.
We celebrated my husband's birthday as our last visit before they close well. It was delicious and so beautiful. We will MISS this beautiful French restaurant. Good luck at rest!
Always a great meal at La Petite France. So sorry they are closing, but we wish them all the best. The special occasion was one last opportunity to dine with them. They are open until June 23rd.
