She really misses their Reuben getta sandwich since moving from Cincinnati to Silver Spring MD last year. We easily found a parking spot around the corner. My daughter had ordered ahead of time it was ready when I got to the pickup counter. Their sourdough bread is great but I substituted a potato pancake and then 2 for the bread. The getta really makes the the sandwich great! The potato pancakes are so tasty. The service was very good and friendly. Refills extra food was encouraged. #izzys @yelpdc #reubens #getta

There... read more I have not eaten at Izzy 's for over forty years. Back then, Izzy was still running the place. He had a little 'hole in the wall ' across from City Hall. There were not alot of tables in there. After you had eaten, you were expected to leave so someone else could use the table. The food was absolutely delicious. Back in the day.
