I've always enjoyed donuts from Holtman's; we like to treat our kids once a month or so and come home with a random dozen for weekend breakfast. But the past 2 times we selected custard filled eclairs and blackberry jam filled donuts, the filling has been MIA. 1 of the 2 jam filled today was literally completely empty. 5 stars because cant properly rate order as I got the wrong food.
Holtmans has had the very best donuts for as far back as I can remember. Ill always go to them no matter how far away they are because they have never let me down.
I liked everything except the apple fritter was dry and had no apples in it . Idk if those were over cooked or from a day ago but the rest were amazing!!! I loved the creme brulee and the buckeye donut ! The buckeye donut is filled with gooie goodness and a lot of it and the creme brulee had great filling also and a good amount ! Overall 8/10! Order some and you will see what I mean !
I went into this blind, had no idea what kind of donuts to expect but I was very pleasantly surprised. There was a very interesting blueberry donut topped with bacon, not something I would ever choose but it was actually amazing. There was a fruity pebbles donut, very yummy. Also, one with a candied sugar texture coating, tasted great and added a nice crunch. Strawberry milk is from Prairie Farms and was yummy. Highly recommend!
Always great to order from here, i wish i can visit the store in person
