Was Isabelle Jost at Bub's Pizza a mag?
We visit this restaurant frequently, and the staff always treats us exceptionally well. The food is consistently outstanding, prepared promptly, and the prices are reasonable. What Tess Funk dislikes about Bub's Pizza:
First time to ever order from here and was less then impressed. Beyond the severely burnt crust as you can see in the pic, but the pizza itself was less then appealling. Way to much marinara sauce which at least for me was not very good at all. With so many pizza options in the area, I wont be frequenting this place again. View all feedback.

I'm always what kind of pizza I'm going to get when I'm not home near Chicago, but Bub's did not disappoint. I'd call it New York Style with a bit more tooth, and the slices of sausage was a pleasant surprise. Good pizza, and good wings.

$16 for a 16”, ok. Definitely NY style pizza. Ordered with half pepperoni and it had plenty of sauce and cheese without adding extra. First thing I noticed was perfect texture and amount of everything. Second thing I noticed was underwhelming flavor of sauce and dough. Third thing was an unusual pepper like heat in the back of my mouth and throat. Not a bad thing, but it stuck out and hung around quite awhile since the flavor of everything else was so so. Better than most of the chains except I’d order a Donatos over this. I read reviews stating bland flavor and I kind of agree. Need garlic in the dough and some flavor in the sauce. ?
