Bob Evans - Cincinnati
Bob Evans
Description
Bob Evans remains a popular choice for breakfast enthusiasts, consistently delivering delicious dishes like the Homestead Farmer breakfast. While the service often shines, with friendly staff who maintain efficient service even during busy hours, some food inconsistencies arise—particularly with the gravy and dressing-heavy salads. Diners have noted that items like the biscuits can be forgotten, affecting overall satisfaction. Despite the occasional hiccup in execution, the restaurant offers a welcoming atmosphere and generally decent food, making it a cherished spot for brunch lovers in the area. Overall, while it has its flaws, many patrons find the experience worthwhile.

There wasn't a lot of gravy and the packaging was a bit awkward, but the food tasted delicious.
The Homestead Farmer breakfast was delicious. Cold Sweet Cream Cold Brew Coffee tasted like sweetened milk and barely tasted like coffee. The Bob Evans Wildfire Chicken Salad was soaked in dressing. Definitely something that you'd have to eat right away because it became soupy after being refrigerated.
I do not recommend ordering the biscuits and gravy here unless you already have biscuits at home, as they always forget to include them along with the icing for the cinnamon biscuits. It was a big waste of both money and time. I left the restaurant still hungry as I couldn't even eat my breakfast.
BLT description says mayo is included. My sandwich was dry because it did not have mayo on it. The bread was grilled like a grilled cheese, not toasted. The veggie soup was hit and tasty. The packaging was not tamper-proof.
