Description
Bob Evans has garnered mixed reviews, highlighting both exceptional food quality and significant service disappointments. While many diners praise the delicious offerings, such as the Slow-Roasted Turkey Dressing and Breakfast Bowl, complaints about long waits and unresponsive staff are prevalent. Despite facing staffing challenges, some patrons commend the friendly service during their visits. However, others report chaotic experiences, including forgotten orders and a lack of management support. Absolutely delicious! The food was really fresh, and I was pleasantly surprised by the portion sizes. I had leftovers from my Slow-Roasted Turkey Dressing dinner, which I was so happy with. We also ordered the Chicken Fried Country-Fried Steak Platter, and it was fantastic. I definitely recommend this place and will be ordering again!
I ordered apple pancakes, but I received pancakes with just dried apples on top—there was no liquid at all, almost like they just stuck the apples on without any preparation. It felt like they had simply dried them off with paper towels. There was no caramel or powdered sugar to enhance the dish. This was by far my worst experience at Bob Evans.
While the food we received was hot and fresh, several key, rather expensive items were forgotten making the experience less than satisfactory.
The cooks forgot to microwave my breakfast biscuit sandwiches. cold precooked eggs, cheese, biscuits, sausage and bacon. A very underwhelming experience. I wasn't even offered replacements.
