We had a surprisingly pleasant dining experience with excellent service, despite there only being one staff member available when we visited. Good large pizza that is thin crust and flavourful. Improvement would be in consistency of the dough, maybe a little crispier to hold the pizza together and fresher tomatoes to be used as the base. View all feedback.
Delicious, tasty pizza! Cunning knots were a big surprise: drying on the inside still crispy on the outside and the tomato sauce is 10/10. will definitely come back!
Sal's review update of the day (because if I re-reviewed it every time I came I would look like a stalker): I have never been disappointed by the music at Sal's. Likewise for the customer service (but I think they somehwat recognize me now), the service is still as good as it was the day I found this gem.
I had a great experiance here, pizza was large and delicious, and the staff were very friendly.
Friendly staff.. pizza here is always good and fresh. Never dry or too greasy unlike Riccarton which can be hit or miss. And Hereford St weekend late night service is so slow.
Really good. I don 't know if it is like true NY style pizza but it was tasty
