eating is absolutely amazing! loves the Jackfruit curry. the garlic naan didn't really taste like garlic. (or that could also be me, I love a really strong garlic taste. View all feedback.
I bought a GrabOne voucher and decided to check out this restaurant, and I was pleasantly surprised. The location and service were top-notch, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was stylish. We started off with the Gulati kebab, which were incredibly tender and practically melted in our mouths. The kebabs were served with naan bread, salad, and sauce, creating a delightful combination. For our main course, we ordered the Yakkhan chicken, which was creamy, rich, and had a subtle spiciness that paired perfectly with the naan. The chicken in the curry was succulent and had a lovely smoky flavor, adding depth to the dish. We also tried the lamb shank nihari, which was served in a tomato-based curry. The lamb was tender and fell off the bone, and the curry complemented the rice perfectly. Overall, it was an exceptional dining experience. The prices were reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and the great location.
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The high tea was a delightful twist on the traditional version, with a great selection of tasty food to try. The service was excellent, and they were able to accommodate our request for vegetarian options with ease. The masala tea was a standout for us. The modern decor of the restaurant added to the overall ambiance. I can't wait to come back and try the curry next time. Highly recommend!
The Indian food at this restaurant is truly delicious. It is very authentic, but the spice level can be adjusted based on your preference. As British individuals accustomed to Indian spices, we opted for a medium hot level which was flavorful with a hint of warmth without overpowering the sweeter spices or the lamb. We must commend Dipesh, who was managing the front of house on his own. Despite being busy, his customer service was impeccable. The restaurant's location may not be ideal next to a car park, but its proximity to the riverside is a plus. We highly recommend this restaurant and be sure to say hello to Dipesh.
Thursday night we went for dinner. The food was awesome, presentation is so good. So far best Indian food in Christchurch.
We were received well and politely, which made us very relaxed. Our drinks and starters came very quickly and It was delicious! We weren't In a rush so we could enjoy our dinner relaxed. The fragrances of the spices was giving of warm relaxing vibes, music was well chosen too. Your manager is well equipped with advice and knowledgeable of his work. We would definitely come back to this restaurant. Best wishes to the future.
