Welcome by the owner and always excellent service. eating is delicious and is our way for a Yaum curry, as we live in marshlands this Indian restaurant is very cheap. book them better as they are popular. View all feedback.

What User dislikes about Samairaz Indian:
Honestly it is one of the best indian restaraunts in Christchurch, but the takeaway service is absolutely abysmal. Was told a 35 minute way for 2 mains and naans, I then arrive after 35 minutes to then have to wait another 40 minutes (yes 1hr 15mins total), clearly the food hadn't even been made in the first place when I arrived. I had an amazing dining experience at this restaurant after being recommended by a colleague. The atmosphere was warm and modern, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. They checked in on us during the meal to ensure everything was okay and if we needed any more drinks. I will definitely be returning in the future.

The food at this restaurant is absolutely amazing! The only reason I didn't give it a 5-star rating is because our group of 7 had to wait an hour before we could order, and we were quite hungry by the time the food arrived. We were also only offered one round of drinks. However, the staff was lovely and quickly fixed an error with my drink order. The garlic naan was delicious and I highly recommend the chicken tikka masala. I also saw sizzling plates of tandoori starters coming out of the kitchen, so I will definitely try that next time. Overall, the food was so delicious!

This is the best Indian food I have ever tasted. I visit this restaurant at least once a week. The staff is fantastic and the owners are amazing, they make you feel like family from the moment you step inside. This is my favorite place to eat in Christchurch.
