Maison De Crepe Merivale - Christchurch

Delicious crepes (both savoury and sweet ones), lovely ambience with vintage style decor, too bad we were in a hurry otherwise would have sat down and relax with some crepes and coffee. The tiramisu crepe we had is exceptional, what a great resemblance of the two. Coffee tastes very French , and last but not least staff are super nice and welcoming

I made reservations for a birthday celebration and the staff went above and beyond with the service. First, they booked a room for me for the event, which was private to the group. Then the food was amazing and finally they even offered to clean the decors we had. Highly recommended for just a meal or a celebration. The only minus I would say (this is me nitpicking) is the room could do with some good lighting. It currently has ambient lighting which is great for general celebration but not good for photos. But overall the place is great, staff is great and we had the loveliest time. Wish I could give 10 stars

Tried this place for the first time today. The decor of this restaurant is really lovely and for that alone I would have given it 5 stars. Sadly the food for me was extremely average. My partners $8 Whittakers hot chocolate tasted like it was mostly made with hot water. I've also been to France several times so would have liked better food here, considering it is a French restaurant. The food for me unfortunately tasted very bland. However, as mentioned, the setting is really lovely and so I hope they honestly do well. Feel It's worth another visit as maybe I just struck an off day.

Returned again, this time for breakfast tried the veggie breakfast crepe delicious thank you! Loved my waffle on the side as well :

Friendly staff and amazing crepes.. there you can find crepes for everyones taste.. I tried the strayberry jam with bananas crepe and my boyfriend the eggs benedict crepe.. we loved it so we went twice
