Contribute FeedbackAt Cafe Miro, guests experience a mix of opinions that highlight both the charm and challenges of this Christchurch eatery. While some rave about the dedicated vegan menu and delicious dishes like mushroom benedict, others lament slow service and disproportionate portion sizes, particularly for pricier vegan options. The atmosphere is consistently praised for its elegance and warmth, complemented by attentive staff in busy settings. However, a few patrons express dissatisfaction due to awkward interactions and underwhelming food quality, casting a shadow over an otherwise appealing brunch destination. Overall, Cafe Miro seems to deliver a blend of delightful and disappointing dining experiences.
We were in christchurch the first day. good tee immuni, bark brisket, egg benedikt and a healthy sweet brischoe. good personal and good restaurant. a very good start to the nz holiday. a small detail is the butter cookie homemade and very good. kia ora
Not easy to impress me but Well done guy and gals at Niro. Went for breakfast today and portion size is perfect. It’s about time cafes/restaurants stop making massive meals. When you take pride In your work and produce a product that is both quality and well portioned you should be congratulated on that. Service here is excellent, waiters are friendly and on the ball. Great work guys.
We wanted to look after the start in the cuisine 2022 “Ones to watch” list after miro. we think it's absolutely disgusting from his place! I called to check if there were high chairs available (there was) and a table to the outside, so our 18mo could walk around in the nearby park (note that the high chairs only fit into the interiors, so we decided to sit them in a normal chair). the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, the coffee sensational and the eating delicious and beautiful presented. we had brisket and benedikt and rated them both as standouts. the clientele on a Friday morning was largely corporate folk, but we were made to make a totally welcome feeling as a family with a young child. are looking forward to a way back to try the lunch menu.
We chose to eat at Cafe Miro because they had a whole separate vegan menu. As soon as we saw the mushroom benedict on the menu we were sold. It was worth finding this beautiful place just for the breakfast options. Great atmosphere, excellent service and great flavors for the vegan dishes. We loved it!
Walked in, didn't get greeted so sat at the window seat. Got told off for sitting at a (unmarked) reserved table. Ordered my food, it was pretty expensive but the table next to me had giant portions. In fact, the guy sitting next to me was commenting on the large amount of bacon he got. My vegan meal was so tiny, with the smallest amount of spinach/mushrooms on what were essentially hash browns. Waste of $40 and my morning.
