The staff was great .. very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were nice. It's more old world than modern which gave it lots of charm. We have stayed here before and would do so again. Breakfast was onsite and they put out a nice spread! It was a 5 minute walk to the main restaurant and bar streets in Brixen. It was a good value.

The restaurant is large, split into several sec... read more Chiusa is a jewel of a place. Within this lovely town is another jewel however, the Grauer Bar (or Orso Grigio). The restaurant is large, split into several sections of which the terrace was our favourite. It is spotlessly clean and the people serving us were lovely guys and more than happy to help with anything we needed. But the most important thing in any restaurant is the food and my goodness, this was good. This was real food cooked with real passion and the taste was excellent (and it wasn't just my wife and I who thought so because all around people were polishing off their dishes with relish and it was quite clear to see everybody enjoying the experience). Top quality, great family run restaurant with friendly staff/owners. Thoroughly recommended.
