Fusion16 - Chippendale
Fusion16
Description
The Italian restaurant, located in a bustling area, offers a casual and non-pretentious vibe. The Crab Fettucine and Capriciosa Pizza were highlights, while the Strawberry cheesecake had a delightful mousse-like texture. Although it may not compete with other well-known Italian restaurants in Sydney, it stands out in its location, catering to a diverse market. The menu discrepancies and name change to Fusion 16 should be noted. The pizzas were tasty but not extraordinary, with the Garlic and herb and Truffle pizzas being recommended choices. Service varied, with some finding it slow and rude, while others praised the attentive staff. Overall, the restaurant offers good food at affordable prices, making it a reasonable choice for a casual dining experience.

The restaurant has changed their name to fusion 16 but on zomato and google map it still comes up as Dulcis Domus so just be wary of that. The menu is also different online to the menu in the restaurant. We ordered: -Garlic and herb pizza as a starter* (cheap too) -Truffle pizza (my favourite)* -Pepperoni & olive pizza* -Pesto pizza Note: "*" are my recommendations. The pesto pizza which had zucchini & tomato was a somewhat odd combination and there was too much mixed cheese on it. The pizzas were nice but nothing wow or exciting that would make me want to come back. Ambience and service was okay. For 5 people and 4 pizzas it was $15.40 which was pretty cheap though so bonus for that.
The food was really good, but the service was slow and they had no interest in us because we were just a few students who were hungry. I found the waiter really rude.
Excellent pizza & some of the best calimari I've ever had. Only lost points for not having all the ingredients for one of our cocktails, but it's probably good that we didn't have any more to drink ????
The seafood pasta was amazing! I also ordered salmon filet was ok, garlic prawn and avocado was also beautiful. love her pasta! 1star no longer lacks a lame.
Came here for lunch in the week, this venue offers a great selection of Italian food and more. the seating area is very spacious with great equipment and beautiful lighting. they have a full bar and coffee in terms of drinks. we started with spicy salt pepper calamari. in chili garlic, we really enjoyed the aromen. sat with paprika aioli, that was so good! then we continued with wood-fired frutti di mare pizza. packed with mozarella, calamari, salmon and garnel, it is a wonderful seafood pizza. the next court was pappardelle ragu. my favourite dish went to the next stage. yum. the highlight for me was definitiw her house that made brownies. oh my! with perfect...more
