Was Dominique Trommer at Ester a mag?
My evening at this restaurant was a delightful experience in every aspect. What Wilfred Hilpert dislikes about Ester:
Un bon restaurant sans plus, très fréquenté par les locaux. Point négatif, on nous demande de quitter le restaurant après avoir presque fini le repas pour un deuxième service... pas de possibilité de prolonger le diner, trop commercial. View all feedback.

My evening at this restaurant was a delightful experience in every aspect. The service was friendly and attentive, with an excellent selection of wines and cocktails that perfectly complemented the meal. The industrial-style decor added a modern and elegant ambiance to the overall atmosphere. Every dish was a treat for the taste buds, but a few stood out to me in particular. The fermented potato bread with salmon roe and kefir cream was a unique and flavorful combination. The natural rock oysters with finger lime pearls added a delicate touch of freshness. The ceviche was fresh and bursting with flavors, while the lemon pancake provided a perfect sweet note to end the meal on a high. Overall, it was an exceptional culinary experience that I highly recommend to all food enthusiasts.
Really enjoyed the food and ambience. Tried one of their Ester Classic set menu which had a combination of some of their popular items (we had just one item swapped out). The roasted oysters and bakers potato were very good and the desserts were also top notch. Their servers are very friendly and we had a pleasant experience there! Service: Dine in
Had dinner at Ester on Monday it was excellent. We opted for Seasonal set menu with grilled scallops, it was so delicious. Everything was delicious. Highlight of the meal was definitely the pipis. The sauce they were served in was incredibly more-ish. The blood sausage sanga was great too! Genuinely exceptional. 10/10. I’ve heard others rave about Ester, and from tonight’s food I can see why. We chose the set menu which I highly recommend. The charred prawns were next level, the scollops perhaps the best I’ve ever tried. I could go on but I’ll leave you to experience it yourself. The best part was perhaps saving the delectable bread to soak up the flavours of each dish. The service was also brilliant, attentive but not over the top, and supremely knowledgeable. Really well done. I’ll be recommending anyone to head to Ester straight away!

The staff are welcoming and know about the food and wine. We had the set menu.I loved all of it accept the desserts. The burnt lemon pav was really hard.Howver the lemon curd was delicious. The ice cream was probably a bit to salty but the rest of my table loved it.Will definitely go back
You should come here if you like food that makes you want to cry with joy. If that's not your thing, it's probably not your vibe. Standouts were the fermented potato bread, oysters, blood sausage sanga, rump cap, fish collar and leftover sourdough ice cream also everything else. I did not know food could taste this good and it's ruined other restaurants for me in the best way.
Esters is truly leading the way when it comes gastronomy magic. The owner and the former master chief contestant, the hand pick staff will guide you through the most amazing creative smell tastes eye opening dishes. We had a 4 hour long lunch presented 12 dishes with wine pairing. We where guided through every dish which I have to say not one of the dishes was disappointing. The length this team goes to is simply amazing. New york times recently wrote 'eaters is one of Australia 's dinners rewriting the way we eat, must go to Sydney icon ' agreed thank you
Amazingggg Food, Seafood!!! Wow! Service Great, Atmosphere n music Perfect. Highly Highly recommend

The personal here was very friendly and courteous, had booked the dinner for a date, then realized that we had actually booked another restaurant. the employees were willing to sit on us, regardless of how there was a table finishing in a short distance and had a waiting area that we could have had drinks and appetizers, our original booking called and we did not stay at the end as it had previously booked somewhere else, but made very effort to get back to the end with an actual booking.
That's a high grotto. Go on the stairs and you are in a concrete bunker giving the small dining room that will feel the Pont du Hoc. A small open kitchen...
