What Nick S dislikes about The Crown:
We stopped for lunch during our walk in The Chiltern Hills and discovered a charming pub on the outskirts of town. Inside, there’s a central bar surrounded by several spacious rooms, some of which are set up for dining. I haven't had a meal here, but the atmosphere and staff are lovely. Price per person: £1–10 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
Came with a party of 25. We had pre ordered, and all the food came out together. There was plenty of food and of good quality. In fact, some people struggled to finish it all. The staff were very professional and helped with every question and requests efficiently. A good village pub with a sports bar on one side and a place on the other to have a chat. We'll worth a visit. Price per person: £20–30
It's always a delight to visit The Crown for a quick pint or a satisfying pub lunch. They serve classic pub dishes—think hearty cheese and tomato sandwiches, loaded jacket potatoes, and traditional fish and chips—which is a refreshing change. The prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is just what you’d expect from a cozy village pub. Jodi and Craig have really transformed the place in the two years they've been there. It’s family-friendly, includes a sports bar, pool tables, and offers good value for honest pub fare.
