What Nick S doesn't like about The Crown:
Stopped for lunch on our walk of The Chiltern Hills to find a picturesque pub on the edge of town. Inside a central bar surrounded by several spacious rooms ... Some laid out for dining. Two cask ales on offer and both sampled were in excellent condition and well served by friendly staff. Unfortunately even though their website says they are serving lunch on Tuesdays ... Apparently that's all wrong. Yet another estab... View all feedback.
Came with a party of 25. We had pre ordered, and all the food came out together. There was plenty of food and of good quality. In fact, some people struggled to finish it all. The staff were very professional and helped with every question and requests efficiently. A good village pub with a sports bar on one side and a place on the other to have a chat. We'll worth a visit. Price per person: £20–30

It's always a delight to visit The Crown for a quick pint or a satisfying pub lunch. They serve classic pub dishes—think hearty cheese and tomato sandwiches, loaded jacket potatoes, and traditional fish and chips—which is a refreshing change. The prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is just what you’d expect from a cozy village pub. Jodi and Craig have really transformed the place in the two years they've been there. It’s family-friendly, includes a sports bar, pool tables, and offers good value for honest pub fare.
